Planet Facebook = where people regularly declare how wonderful their spouses, fiances, boyfriends/girlfriends, and children are. Hmmm. It sometimes leaves a girl wondering, must one acquire one or more of the above in order to be happiest and have wonderful people and much love in one’s life?
After thinking on it for a bit, and recounting one’s own belovedests and blessings…although there is no husband and there are no children, it seems that the answer to that question is quite probably – and thankfully – no.
Although it might be nice, particularly if all these euphoric Facebook statuses on my newsfeed are anything to go by 🙂 one does not need a spouse/partner or children in order to be happiest have wonderful people and much love in one’s life.
God will always bring people to love and be loved by, wherever or whoever we are, and whatever our place in the world.
Some days, I forget that. Today, I am going to try to remember it. All day 🙂

Don’t even get me started on the Facebook thing!!!! That will eventually be an entirely different post. Haha. But the answer is an emphatic ‘no’ from me. You’re right about there being so much else to love and feel thankful for – not be able to post continuously about your yet-to-be-found husband/ boyfriend/girlfriend or your yet-to-be-had children is definitely not the end of the world 🙂
